Club Development Centre (CDC)
The CDC department offers a development pathway accessible to players aged 6 to 12, ranging from recreational to competitive levels.
The main objective is to create a positive learning environment where young players can progress at their own pace, develop their technical skills, and build confidence on the field. Inspired by the principles of long-term player development, our programs emphasize fun, exploration of the game, teamwork, and the acquisition of solid soccer foundations within a structured framework adapted to the participants' age.
CDC programs are offered in seasonal formats (summer and winter), with varying levels of commitment, allowing players to find a pathway that aligns with their goals and athletic motivation.
Ages 6 to 12
CDC Development (U7 – U12)
This recreational program focuses on the individual development of players within a positive and stimulating team environment. The main objective is to foster soccer learning through fun, exploration, and playing age-appropriate games.
We emphasize the development of technical skills, decision-making, and game understanding through small-sided games and simplified game situations. Collaboration with teammates on the field is encouraged to achieve collective goals while building individual confidence.
Players also participate in the local league to put the skills learned in training into practice in a real match context adapted to their skill level.
Training sessions are organized in a stationary format with fixed groups, allowing for consistent coaching and monitoring of player development throughout the season. Participants remain on the same team for the entire season, promoting team cohesion and a sense of belonging.
Ages 6 to 12
CDC Excellence (U7 – U12)
This program focuses on the individual development of players within a group setting. We create and promote a fun environment that allows players to learn through exploration and small-sided games. The emphasis is on teamwork with partners on the field to achieve our collective goals. Players in this program participate in the regional league. Training takes place in a station-based format and in open groups. Players are assigned to fixed teams based on the criteria established by the region for that week.
Participation in the CDC Excellence Winter Program (players born 2014–2019) is open to all. There is no formal selection process, but winter assessments are part of the CDC evaluation process and directly influence team assignments for summer 2026. In some age groups (U9–U12), team composition is based on these assessments.
Players not participating in the winter program may be placed on summer teams only if spots are available, generally in lower competition levels (Division 2 or 3), with no guarantee of access to Division 1 teams.
The Summer Technical Excellence Program (players born 2019–2014) is also open to all, but spots are limited and priority is given to players with an active CDC evaluation history.
According to Soccer Québec rules, a very limited number of players from other clubs may register for competitive programs. These players must contact the club BEFORE registering.
